Avance Media, Ghana’s top PR and rating agency, has issued its ‘Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers’ ranking for 2021, in collaboration with Woodin and Verna Natural Mineral Water.

The ranking, which began in 2018, includes the names of the people behind Ghana’s most read, popular, and trustworthy blogs, as well as how individuals are contributing to the country’s digital media
On Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, the rating was announced during an exclusive awards ceremony sponsored by the Ghanaian blogging community at the San Marino Hotel in Accra.

The ranking is centred on honouring Ghanaian new media journalists and entrepreneurs that have developed platforms to project inform, educate, and entertain their fans, according to Prince Akpah, Managing Director of Avance Media, who spoke during the occasion. He further explained the rating mechanism, stating that bloggers contributed their website traffic and social media engagements, which were utilized to rate them on a scale of 1 to 50.

The top 50 blogs in Ghana are represented in the 2021 ranking by 50 excellent bloggers that own and operate the top 50 blogs in Ghana.

Rashad Kojo Emmanuel, the editor of www.ghpage.com, was named the greatest Ghanaian blogger at the event, a position the site has held for the past three rankings. Bloggers Chris Handler (ghbase.com), Felix Adomako Mensah (zionfelix.com), Dennis Dwomoh (thedistin.com), and Sheperd Yaw Mortey (thedistin.com) were among those who kept a careful eye on him (mfidie.com).
