This incident has had far-reaching implications across numerous sectors worldwide, including television and radio broadcasting, financial institutions, and transportation networks.
CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity firm headquartered in Texas responsible for safeguarding Microsoft systems and services against cyber threats,
has confirmed that their Falcon Sensor technology was identified as the root cause behind this shutdown and that their engineers are scrambling to rectify it.
