When it comes to new console restocks, you may have noticed that Amazon has been overshadowed by the likes of Walmart and Best Buy in recent months. If you’ve been able to get your hands on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X consoles from Amazon from time to time, you’ve had to deal with a number of obstacles, including a lack of a robust queuing system that other shops have put up, leaving Amazon more vulnerable to bots.

The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will be back in stock on March 30th at 11 a.m. Eastern/8 a.m. Pacific, according to Amazon’s Twitter announcements. As a result, we can only assume that there are plenty of copies left to go around and that the supply will last a bit longer than normal.

Amazon is selling the PS5 Digital Edition for $399.99, which is the same price as the system itself. It may be seen as a lower-tier PS5 model, but it saves $100 by omitting the disc drive, making it more affordable. Everything else, including PS5 and PS4 games and Sony’s upcoming subscription service, may be played without making a compromise.

At this point, the 825 GB SSD may seem a bit restricting, particularly when you realise that only 667GB of it is accessible for usage. You may, however, increase the storage capacity by inserting a PCIe Gen4-compliant M.2 SSD (with a heatsink) to play massive AAA games without having to move them around.

Signing into your Amazon account ahead of time and having your shipping and payment information stored can let you get a PS5 from Amazon. Priority access to this resupply is reserved for Prime customers, who pay $14.99 a month or $139 a year for the privilege.

The console should be added to your basket and checked out as soon as 11AM ET / 8AM PT comes around. Add to Cart buttons can be shown on Amazon’s page, but they may be concealed beneath a “See all purchasing choices” button. With just one click, you can add it to your shopping bag. When trying to purchase anything from Amazon, here is where many customers get let down. Keep trying and being persistent are the most important things.

It’s possible that this replenishment will help you get your hands on a PS5. Make sure you sign up for our twice-a-week Verge Bargains newsletter to have the best deals on tech and gaming products sent to your inbox every two weeks.
