How To Add Yourself To Google Search Results!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Just like me, I’m sure you have at least once thought of having your bio or about show up in search results just like most celebrities or public figures, maybe you wanted this just for clout or business purposes. Well for some time now, Google has added a feature to their search app that would allow just anyone with a Google account can get a similar experience and in this article, I would share with you just how to have that done. But before you rush to go add yourself to Google search, this feature is currently only available in India, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa, for users that have their set language to English and this feature isn’t available yet on desktop. And also sadly not available in Ghana yet. But we would update this when it’s available here too.

  1. Go to google.com.
  2. Make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account.
  3. Search for edit my people card.
  4. At the top right of your people card, tap Edit.

On your mobile device, you can always find your card when you search for your name on Google. Other information in your Google Account is available on the “About me” page. For some people, the “About me” page won’t show some card information. But you can still find and change your card information when you search for your card through Google.

If you want to grow a business or developing a personal brand major way to do it is by being discoverable online. An easy way to do it is to be on the world’s biggest search engine. Here is a video from Fisayo Fosudo explaining this feature better:

Do you like this feature or would you try it, let us know in the comments, and don’t forget to share this article with anyone who might need it.
