Reading Time: 2 minutes

There has been a report from WABetaInfo that the latest version of Android Beta comes with the much-awaited WhatsApp dark mode. Particularly Beta versions 2.20.13. This feature is accessible from the app’s settings menu.

This accessibility comes with the option of turning the dark mode permanently on or off. There is also the option of allowing Android’s system to go on the battery to save the setting.

Advocates have raised approbative analysis that, not only is the dark mode’s interface eyesight friendly, it saves the battery life of the device as well.

WhatsApp has become the third Facebook app to feature dark mode after Facebook messenger and Instagram.

The dark mode is only available on the latest Beta version of Androids at the moment and will soon be accessible with the other Androids and iOS eventually.

Other Android users may download an APK file to get the dark mode. However, there are risks involved in using these APK files since it’s not 100% reliable. But if you still want to get it now using an APK you can use the steps provided in this video.

Patience is a virtue; Dark mode as exciting as it is will definitely be accessible with time for all users.
