Samsung Galaxy A22 Specs, Price and Best Deals

The Samsung Galaxy A22 fills the void left by the Galaxy A21 and Galaxy A21s, with features that position it as a worthy successor. A better display, a larger battery, an enhanced camera system, and more are among the highlights of the Galaxy A22’s improvements over the A21.

Display and Design

The Samsung Galaxy A22’s chassis design borrows elements from previous Samsung smartphones. As a result, it may not appear completely fresh to many fans, as it isn’t a particularly unique design.

Looking at the back of the gadget, we can see a square camera module with four cameras, which is similar to the arrangement on the Samsung Galaxy A12. On the back, you’ll discover an LED flash as well as the Samsung logo.

A 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a drop notch is found on the front. This arrangement is similar to that found on the Samsung Galaxy A31. The display’s strengths include a 720 x 1600 resolution, a density of around 270 PPI, and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy A22’s cameras are unquestionably an improvement over the Galaxy A21’s. The camera’s specifications sheet speaks it all.

A 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP Macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4 are all found on the back of the phone. This camera’s video recording is limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Moving forward, we find a single 13MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2 in the front camera portion. This camera’s video recording is limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Hardware and software 

Despite the fact that the CPU for the Galaxy A22 was unknown at the time this article was written, the other specifications indicate that we will be getting a processor that is more powerful than the Helio P35 on the Galaxy A21.

Onboard, we have 4GB or 6GB RAM options, as opposed to 3GB RAM on its predecessor, 64GB / 128GB storage options, as opposed to 32GB storage on its predecessor, and a non-removable 5000mAh Li-Po battery with an 18W fast charging mechanism, which is another upgrade over the A21.

On the software side, the Android 11 operating system runs the One UI Core 3.1 user interface.

Connectivity

This device has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB connector, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC for communication.

The Samsung Galaxy A22’s internet connectivity is limited to 4G LTE; 5G capability is not available, therefore downloads, streaming, and uploads are all limited to 4G speeds.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy A22 remained unknown at the time of writing, but it will be updated as soon as it is known.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 was launched on June 3rd, 2021, and will be available later that month.
