Reading Time: < 1 minute

Following months of design leaks and unbridled anticipation, Samsung finally unveiled its new flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in an event live in New York yesterday.

Confirming many of the leaks that had been flying around, the device comes with a dual rear camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner positioned the way the fingerprint scanner was placed on the Galaxy S8.

The Note 8 comes packed with the best in technology, including things like:

  • A cinematic 18.5:9 bezel-less display
  • QHD+ SuperAMOLED Display
  • App Pair to create shortcuts to launch two apps in multi-window mode with just one tap.
  • Live Focus allows users to adjust background blur and image focus in real time, and even after taking a picture.
  • Iris Scanner, Facial Recognition, and Fingerprint Scanner.

The phone will be available in four different colours, Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Maple Gold, and Deep Sea Blue.

The Galaxy Note 8 will be available from September 15, and Samsung will start taking pre-orders within a few days.
