Display and Design

When comparing the design of the Galaxy S21 Plus 5G to that of its predecessor, it is clear that certain design improvements have been done. These design tweaks may not be significant, but they are undoubtedly appreciated, especially with the abundance of identical designs in the Android smartphone space.

On the back panel, there is a significant design alteration. Samsung chose a vertical camera bump this year, which comes in colors that contrast with the color of the back cover.

Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gold, Phantom Red, Phantom In the series, it has the most color possibilities.

One thing to remark about the build quality is that we have a glass rear covering instead of the plastic that comes standard on the S21.

Moving on, we get a 6.7-inch display, which is around the same size as its predecessor’s display, but with lower resolution and density. In comparison to its predecessor, which had a resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a density of 525 PPI, this one has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a density of 394 PPI.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus 5G’s cameras are nearly identical to those of its less expensive sibling. It also has DNA in common with its predecessor, albeit with a few tweaks.

On the back, we have a 12MP primary wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/1.8, a 64MP telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.0, a 12MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 120-degree field of view, and a 12MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 120-degree field of view. Phase detection autofocus and Optical Image Stabilization are included. This back camera array can shoot videos in ultra 8k at 24 frames per second. For information on the additional video recording modes, see the specifications sheet below.

On the selfie front, there’s a single 10MP camera hidden behind a punch hole in the display. This camera features an f/2.2 aperture and can shoot videos in 4K at 60 frames per second.

Hardware and software

In my perspective, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus 5G isn’t really impressive. This year, the processor is the main attraction. This transition, however, should not be overlooked because it allows for the development of new capabilities.

We have an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU on the USA/China variants and an Octa-core Exynos 2100 processor on the worldwide model, 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage options, and a non-removable 4800 mAh battery, which is 300mAh larger than its predecessor.

If you choose the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, you will have additional alternatives.

On the software side, the Android 11 interface runs the One UI 3.1 user interface.

Connectivity

A USB Type-C port, low-energy Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and dual-band WiFi are all included in the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Plus.

The internet speed limit for this network is 5G, thus gamers can use it for downloads, uploads, and streaming.
