Tizeti, a leading innovator in internet connectivity across West Africa, has introduced its Free Fiber broadband service in Nigeria and Ghana. This innovative offering promises to transform internet access in the region by providing unlimited 1 Gbps speeds, far exceeding the regional average of 28 Mbps. The Free Fiber service is now available in Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria, as well as Accra, Ghana, with plans to expand to several more cities over the next 12 months. This growth initiative seeks to close the digital gap and deliver affordable, reliable internet to millions across Africa.

To encourage adoption, Tizeti is offeringĀ free installationĀ and aĀ complimentary first-month subscriptionĀ for new users. This initiative is designed to make high-speed internet accessible to a broader audience, fostering digital inclusion and economic growth. Moreover, the Free Fiber broadband service offers several extra features, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone numbers and free calls to various countries with large African communities, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Portugal. These benefits enable users to stay effortlessly connected with clients, partners, and loved ones across the globe.

Kendall Ananyi, CEO of Tizeti, highlighted the game-changing impact of the new fiber service. ā€œFiber represents the next evolution in internet technology, delivering unmatched speed and reliability. Our cutting-edge fiber infrastructure provides speeds exceeding 1 Gbpsā€”50 times faster than current options and 10 times faster than 5G or LEO satellite services. This advancement allows for seamless streaming, lightning-fast downloads, and enhanced online interactions, offering users a revolutionary internet experience,ā€ Ananyi stated.

Tizeti has launched an innovative referral program to accelerate the expansion of its network. Customers who refer new users without access to Tizetiā€™s services will receive free setup and a five-month subscription. Moreover, Tizeti USA is relaunching its Teleport Services, offering users U.S. IP addresses, phone numbers, and digital wallets to enable smooth trade and financial transactions between West African countries and the United States.

Ifeanyi Okonkwo, COO of Tizeti, highlighted the broader impact of the FreeFiber service. ā€œThis initiative empowers communities and fosters innovation. Our FreeFiber service revolutionizes internet access, unlocking new opportunities for education, commerce, and communication.ā€

Tizeti, a billion-naira enterprise with 12 years of experience and 4 million subscribers, has become a key player in West Africaā€™s digital transformation through partnerships with Microsoft, Meta, and USAID. The launch of its FreeFiber broadband service marks a major step toward universal internet access, offering affordable, reliable, and high-speed connectivity. With plans to expand FreeFiber to more cities, Tizeti remains dedicated to bridging the digital divide and driving economic growth across underserved regions.
