Finally, Samsung decided to produce a sequence of original Galaxy Buds after the Galaxy Buds+, Live and Pro. Now, at least in the name. The brand-new Galaxy Buds 2 draws items from earlier Samsung wireless earbuds and the technology for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) isn’t overlooked.
Nevertheless, Samsung said that Galaxy Buds 2 will be lower than the Galaxy Buds Pro and that the proposal will be more enticing, especially for first-time wireless earbud consumers.
Design
The Galaxy Buds 2 sounds like a mix of Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live. The earpieces are in-ear, however, the housing is finished on the top with a glistening finish. The 2 earbuds Galaxy Buds are matt in a consistent texture. The four colours, including black, green, purple and white, are available.

As usual, this year even the charge/transportation case has been redesigned. The new model keeps a rectangular, rounded corner and a bevelled factor. Each earbud is 17 x 20.9 x 21.1 mm while the loading box is 50 x 50.2 x 27.8 mm in diameter.
The earbuds are water-resistant to IPX7 and should be able to survive if they are immersed. They should at least provide more water resistance than the Galaxy Buds Live IPX2 rating.

Each Galaxy Buds 2 earbud contains a 61mAh coin cell battery, three microphones (2 outer mics + 1 inner), and 2-way speakers featuring a woofer and a tweeter. The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
