At Apple’s iPhone event at the Steve Jobs Theatre, the company finally launched the much awaited iPhone X. The special edition iPhone comes with some amazing new features and a complete redesign.

The iPhone X has a bezel-less design with all of it’s front covered with the display, except for a notch in the top, where Apple has stuffed a bunch of sensors.

iPhone X Features:

  • 5.8-inch OLED display at 458ppi
    • HDR10 and Dolby Vision
  • Face ID to Unlock
    • iPhone X’s FaceID works in the dark with IR
  • 12MP Dual Cameras with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures
    • Dual OIS
  • 7MP Front Camera
  • 64GB/256GB

Touch ID has been removed with the iPhone X, and so has the home button. Users will now have to reply on gestures on the bottom of the screen to navigate between apps, go to the home screen and more.

With the iPhone X, Apple has also moved the Control Centre to the top of the screen, so users will have to swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Control Centre.

The iPhone X will start from $999, with pre-orders starting from October 27, and shipping starting from November 3.
