Samsung’s MWC Event Will Focus On Work And Education Devices

Samsung has announced that its Galaxy MWC (Mobile World Congress) event will be digitally live streamed on YouTube on February 27 at 10 a.m. PT.

While there is no official word on what Samsung will reveal, the event’s theme looks to be connected mobile devices, as seen by the laptop, smartwatch, foldables, tablets, and stylus mentioned on the invitation.

Samsung Electronics said in a statement that “in today’s quickly evolving world driven by mobile devices, we are once again reshaping the future of how we work and study.”

Samsung’s MWC Galaxy event comes just days after its Galaxy Unpacked event, which debuted the Galaxy S22 series on February 9. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are all part of the flagship line. Because it inherits the Samsung Galaxy Note’s legacy, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has stood out. With the Ultra, Samsung decided to discontinue the once-popular Galaxy Note line in favor of bringing the Ultra’s standout feature, the built-in S-Pen, to the Galaxy S line for the first time.

The gadgets will be fresh on the market by the time Samsung conducts its MWC event, having recently gone on sale in numerous global areas on February 25.

Because many businesses are still affected by the virus, Samsung may not have much to display at Mobile World Congress and may hold more significant product announcements for future Galaxy Unpacked events. Last year at MWC, Samsung showed the capabilities of its One UI Watch software, which was developed in collaboration with Google, before debuting the OS alongside the Galaxy Watch 4 at a Galaxy Unpacked event later that year.

Many brands, including Samsung, did not attend MWC 2021 in person and hosted virtual press conferences to maintain the health and safety of their employees.
