Say Goodbye To Poor Internet, See 6 Ways To Boost 4G Network

Reading Time: 2 minutes

6 working techniques to increase your phone’s 4G network (Say Goodbye to Slow Internet)

1. Update your software

Do you know how you get alerts about updating your carrier software every now and then? These updates tell your phone which towers it should connect to. You should update on a regular basis, but if you haven’t done so recently, you should do it now. For your Android or Apple phone, follow the appropriate instructions.

2. Turn off Services, not in use

WiFi and Bluetooth, for example, can frequently cause issues by attempting to transfer your calls and data via a separate provider or by allowing other devices to consume bandwidth that is required for fast data or clear communications.

Disable these on your phone to check if your signal improves.

3. Change your voice and data settings.

When the 4G LTE network you’re connected to is overburdened, the 3G network, albeit slower, is actually a superior option. If you’re on the 4G LTE network, try disabling it on your iPhone or Android phone (if supported), which will move you to the 3G network immediately.

4. Turn airplane mode on and off

Your phone will be forced to reconnect to the cellular network as a result of this action. Try toggling on and off Airplane mode to force the phone to reconnect if you’re in an area where you should have a good signal but it doesn’t appear on your phone.

5. Reset your network settings

If you still can’t get your phone to connect and other phones from the same carrier are operating in your area, this is a final resort.

6. Manually Reset your Network Operator.

This one is only for Android devices. Select “Settings > Find Mobile Networks > Network Operators” from the drop-down menu. It will rescan all available networks in your region.
